We would like to notify the general public that the cult allegations seen on some websites about Natasha Lakaev are completely baseless and fabricated.

The original offending material was written by two individuals who used the reputation that their occupation could generate to spread this information for personal gain.

Legal action was taken against these individuals in the Supreme Court of NSW and they have now retracted these statements and provided a complete and all encompassing signed Apology to Natasha Lakaev, along with letters written to the offending websites and newspapers requesting that the offending material be removed.

The Apology and associated letters were signed on the 21st September 2011 and are posted below

We would like to take this opportunity to advise you that any viewing, printing, publishing, emailing and discussing of the offending defamatory material is deemed under the law as a republication and act of defamation and such action/s are open to legal action....and the legal action will occur.....do not think that you will be able to do it without being traced....just ask the defendants in the recent law suit.....any continuation of this behaviour is nothing but malicious, untrue and antagonistic and highlights the mental state of the people involved. As a result of these apologies evidence regarding two other individuals involved has allowed us to commence legal action through the correct channels.

Its not far off before an exact chronology will be posted on who spread the defamatory material, why they did it and who they contacted, along with information from witnesses to their actions....so that this whole horrific set of circumstances cannot be applied to whoever else these individuals set their sights on in the future.

This social media network really doesnt represent the best part of our community when one views what has occurred.

If any further individuals want to come forward to give us any further evidence or experiences they have regarding the matter, now would be the time because a transparent pathway of events will be made available to the general public and the relevant authorities in a short period of time.

So if you have been involved and dont want to suffer the same fate as the above people, now is the time to step up.
